Higher waist pants

Postby MrsChad » Wed Nov 22, 2017 9:31 pm

Spin off the high waist workout pant.

I am in need of mom jeans. I have lived in denial for too long. Any favorite brands and/or advice for seeking out higher waist but still attractive jeans? Also, I despise how jeans stretch out so badly now. I feel like I can barely button my pants when I put them on and then two hours later I am struggling to keep them on. Is this just because my jeans are cheap? Does everyone have this problem?

I definitely have the problem with my jeans stretching out. I like a nice mid-rise, and I recently found a great pair from Gap that fit nicely and I can wear for a couple of days before a wash.

I like the Old Navy Rockstar jeans. I've been happy with how they hold up in terms of stretch

Oh, I just remembered. I did get a pair of high waist velvet trousers from Gap too, and I really like those!

Sounds like Gap and Old Navy are the places to start. I hate pants shopping. Thank you!

You will pay an arm and half a leg for them but Paige Hoxton jeans are the BEST high-rise jeans and they keep their shape and do not stretch out (but still have mega stretch in the fabric).

I think I’m going to treat myself to a pair of these before I go back to work. Lord knows I’m not fitting into my Verdugos anytime soon.

So coming back to say that I made an unexpected trip to Clothes Mentor yesterday and came out with a pair of Hudson jeans and a pair of Citizen jeans. I forgot how much I used to love my Hudsons. I am hoping they hold up well and don't stretch too much. They aren't as high as I think I need (my sister says if I go as high waisted as I want, I might as well wear maternity, sounds good to me :good: ). Hopefully, they will be high enough to stop the constant pants hiking.
